The Windsor Castle was the flagship of the Union Castle Line

Last time i found her in Greece, different looks.

Interesting in the film, Southghampton Harbour and the queen mary before going on the last trip to the US
Also in the Film the Cusan, i think she sailed to Australia.

While living in PE, i watched all the Castle Ships coming in every week.

Windsor Castle
Pendennis Castle
Southhampton Castle
The Vaal
Oranje
and others ( forgot the names)

On the Ship i met a guy and his wife, he told me about the diamond mines he worked in,
Alex Bay. Years later i gave them a visit

The ship we returned to England from Cape Town in late 1971 was the Edinburgh Castle.
The Southampton Castle was docking while we leaving.
There was another ship which we past, it was on the way to Cape Town

Looked this one up on the google (Del Mar ship1971) and good old Internet came back with
SS Reina Del Mar Union Castle Line.

Took about 12 days, we were diverted to St Helena one of the crew was ill  202
