Title: Grade two CHild Knocked over......!
Post by: Michael Alexander on February 26, 2009, 07:54:56 AM
Just heard that a Grade two pupil from OPS was walking her dog yesterday afternoon, when she was struck by a car....... The child is in hospital....... will post more when I hear something.....

On a note, Be careful of the 4 way stop at the end of 7th avenue down the road from the SPar, I have seen countless cars, fly through here without stopping......

Please do MIke. I trust & pray that the child will be fine.

We've said it was only a matter of time before something like this happened again. The cops need to enforce the rule of the road.

Seems that there is more to this tale.... seems like this was just a terrible accident, a source tells me that her father was driving and accidently knocked her over...

Hi Everyone

Things are getting really bad. A Grade 11 pupil of Garsfontein High School was deliberately knocked off her scooter this week by a taxi driver, he then rode over her and fled the scene. He  was arrested later on and is up for culpable homocide, believe it or not. I really think he must be up for murder!!!! Bernadine was killed instantly. Imagine what shock it was for the parents. You leave your house in the morning and later on get this terrible news. Hubby wants to buy our daughter a scooter, but I will not allow it. The motorists in Gauteng do not care how they drive, bearing in mind the children on scooters.
