Title: Seventy Years!
Post by: Michael Alexander on March 07, 2009, 01:38:24 PM
Well here's one for the books.... I just figured out that we have an age gap of 70 years between the oldest member and the youngest member on this forum.... Wee Cameron at an envious 8 years and a mind blowing Stan Brownless at 78..... \

Wow! I think thats quite a record....

Great stuff........

My mom, Mrs BrĂ¼nner (or Ien Wols ), is 79 years and hope to turn 80 on the 24th of March 2009. We all live in Holland, except my sister Marja( lives in Aston Bay), but she will come to Holland specially for my moms birthday.
My mom used to work at the swimming pool and the "desert inn" at the end of the 60's till halfway the 70's. It was a shared job with Mrs Lindhout.

Two of Oranjemund's "institutions" Mrs Lindhout & Mrs Brunner - taught generations of us kids in Omd to swim! Best wishes to your mom Sylvia on her birthday.

Ooops, I made a mistake then...

The youngest member being Cameron at 8

and The Oldest being Ien Wols at 79

That gives us a mind blowing 71 .......
