Well, ex Oranjemund resident and my father in law, Mike Voden, who happens to be staying with us for a few days, made an interesting suggestion about what to do with the Namdeb workforce that will be embarking on a 3 month economical break.....
Seeing that the mine is still paying these lot a full salary, why not arm them all with black bags, brooms, spades , rakes etc..... and let them loose on the township of Oranjemund, imagine how our little gem in the desert would sparkle after 1000 "cleaners" polish the place up for three months.....
I thought it was a novel idea...... don't know what the mass mob would have to say about it though!
