This was nice to receive from our Forum Member, Denise Smith, I include her comments....

I am sending you this collection of photos from our time in Oranjemund.  These are a selection of pics that my parents have sorted through.  I thought that you would like to add these to the photos on the website.  We lived in Oranjemund from 1962 - 1965, 1968 - 1975.  I was born there and we left before I started High School.  My folks first lived in Outer Crescent and then we lived at 37 -11th Avenue.  Right by the school and diagonally opposite the Bakery.

Included with the pictures are photos of mine workings, town, the yacht club, "safari parties", Mule derby, Christmas Tree, mine tours, cars, school, Bioscope parties, Squash club.

I wish more people would submit/post photographs of the people from the bygone days, people out together having a party, people out playing sport......

You are right, Jutta is the name, they live in the cape,i run in to them on one of my visits on the canal walk
