There can't be many who haven't seen Susan Boyle - the 47yo spinster singing I Dream a Dream from Les Miserables

But now there's 12yo Shaheen Jafargholi singing Who's Loving You By Michael Jackson

Check it out - both amazing talents!
Stunning ... such a rich voice watched it 3 times .. reminds me of the young podgy boy on one of them ... I saw the track on Oprah .. he explained how the other kids at school would beat him up cos of his interest in singing ( f..g yobbo uncultured cretins ) he said it made him just more determined to sing more .. well he broke out into song a choral piece it .. the voice of an angel emerged .. everybody was in tears .. me too ... such raw beautiful talent that makes the world a beautiful place ...
Wow, what a dame.... she had to be scottish..... Gee! We were all blown away here in Omund...... Gotta show my dad that sometime.... I have never seen Simon so dumbfounded...... the audience were on there feet withing the first 20 seconds.... Gee! remind anyone of Lilian Grey?
Busy with 2nd download....
Thanks Cherry...

When Susan Boyle came on, my daughter said that she looked like me, i'm thinking about starting a career as her lookalike!! She is a really good singer, not like me as i cannot sing at all!!
Can't help getting a "knop-in-die-keel". Wonderful!
Here;s an interesting comment I picked up of the net....
"Why all the surprise and astonishment? No-one walks onto the BGT stage un-auditioned. Cowell knew long before Susan Boyle emerged on stage in Glasgow that she had an untutored but incredible voice... His research briefing notes told him so. His "spontaneous" reactions are scripted. His fellow judges might conceivably be kept in the dark, but this is Cowell's company, remember?
The Svengali of mediocre performance had already calculated that he needed another "Paul Potts" moment to boost ratings and to manufacture the illusion this is a true talent show. "Find me someone awkward and gawky, but with an incredible voice..."
Susan Boyle had been auditioned several times before this - as with the 99% of auditionees that never make it in front of Cowell et al. She was also probably advised to wear her most inappropriate, unflattering outfit - just to make the conceit all the more "surprising"
This is just an artfully crafted, laboriously edited piece of slick TV. There was nothing "unlikely" about this "surprise" hit. It was a manipulated, manufactured piece of television hokum. Nothing wrong with that, really. It's only telly. but please spare us the Guardian-earnest analysis and portentous moralising"
We never like to appear cynical , but yes I'm sure the very practical thoughts came to quite a few minds ( including mine ) I mean if they did not screen then they would be inundated ?? .. and yes it is most likey largely rehearsed ..
But yes thats the beauty of being human and fickle .. we want to believe in good we want to be able to see the dream come true good triumph over evil or adversity
... ( like fairy tales for kids ) and ( love novels for women ) and ( Louis l'amour for men )
It makes us feel good ,, believe in a tomorrow , have hope .. so yes we brush the cynic aside and let the telly portray the dream and bring it to us ... I'm not objecting so long as I'm aware of where its coming from and its purpose .. so what ..??
For me,it's not about Simon, auditions or anything else; it' about two wonderful talents especially Susan boyle.
Hello Sandy.......mmmmmm Susan Boyle looks a bit like Daisy De Melker. Stunning voice a must admit. Geeeezz the Shiraz was good to-nite. hic hic.
Hollie haa Diana ,, same thought crossed my mind .. but not a scowling face .. I hope she soars to success ..
