Title: Our visit to Nambia 2009
Post by: DUNJA WRBKA on May 31, 2009, 04:38:47 PM
After having left Nambia 25 years ago I got to visit Nambia again with my family.

We entered on the south eastern side via Uppington, travelled to Keetmans, Luderitz, Aus, Windhoek, Swakop and then back the same way home...

It was great showing my husband and my mom in law the wonders of Nambia.  Took close to 300 pics but will not bore you with them all... ;-)  Here are a few to wet the appetite....

@ Bev

I don't think anyone who hasn't actually lived there actually really gets it.

Namibia stole my heart way back in the 70's and has held onto it tightly ever since.

I am so envious that you got to take your girls, my son, 23, who was born in Australia and now lives here in Wales has no desire to visit and you can actually see his eyes glaze over when we get together as a family and reminisce.
