Talking about old newsletters.... you should ask Rainer next time he pops into town to see if his mom still has her collection... last I saw she had newsletters from 1950 something!

Bev,Thanks but  Rainer mentioned that collection to me already........ I'm first going through the Museums collection before I start sourcing worldwide...  ;)

I was more intersted in trading coins with him, but he won't budge..only when he's had a few dops......  :D

God I remember his coin collection.... we used to take them out now and then to check if he had any rare.. valuable ones.... seems not otherwise he wouldn't be living in Rosh Pinah I guess.  But yeah... feed him a few "klippies and coke" and then try... but don't get your hopes up too much :)

Rainer's coin collection is still in tact, the last time WE looked ....Safe as Fort Knox!!
Living in Rosh Pinah can't be THAT bad.

Rainer is off the Klippies & Coke, now drinking champagne on a yacht somewhere between Rosh Pina & Omund.  ;) ;)

As long as that Yacht docks in town and Sir Rainer has brought his coin collection with..... I last saw that collection when he put it on display in the rec club hall about 11 years back for a hobby and crafts day..... We knew each other, but he never knew I collected Paper money and a few coins......

The yacht docked in Cpt 3 weeks ago, Rainer popped over for the weekend en-route to Rosh Pinah, He's well and looking good.

Dave Eyre is camping over till Tues as we speak....Our lives will never be the same!! Dave says HI to all who know him.

David's yacht ran aground a few years ago and is now residing in Botswana.
