Has anyone experienced any problems with sending and receiving PM's (private messages) on this forum?
idontknow
Not more than when posting in any other way.
No problem here either, all running smooth.
I know Mike S had a slight problem with a PM - but that was operator error - he sent it to the wrong person!

Hi Mike
With regards to pm posting, yes I have been experiencing problems. When trying to send a pm the program opens on a blank page and nothing happens! Have tried repeatedly to get page to open, even going as far as shutting down and rebooting to no avail.
Regards
Denise
Hi, I also experienced the same problem as you have Denise but having tried it again at a later stage it did work, although this time I "double clicked" on the reply block.
Regards,
Mike
Mine sometimes does the same thing other times works fine.
I want to wait till the next release of the forum software to see if it will help....
I've had that to Mike. I don't think it's the software. Must be the server. It happens when the page takes ages to load. Like it takes ages to load all the smileys. A pop-up mentions something aboutrunout time. Can't remember what, though.
Use Firefox browser......It remembers the smileys and does not have to reload them everytime you log on to the forum...
Ditch the smileys from the programme and triple the response speed.
Bob.
You can switch the smileys off in your profile........Look and layout..........Your choice....... sorriso2
