For those that wonder where Malta is located, its an island between Sicily and Tunesia
The country is part of the European Community and has also the Euro.
The maltes language is a mixture of arab an italian but most speak english thanks to the english colonial time until the early 60.....
We stayed only 10 days and had very hot weather for our climate.
Malta and Gozo form the republic
Malta has a very dense population that compares the our Ruhrgebiet which is highly populated. On the south east coast is conglomarate of cities that connect to one large built up of towns reaching all along the coast from South to North.
Malta has a very long history and was attacked by many including the Turks, Germans, French with Napoleon and taken as colony by Britain.
The Order of St John plays a big role in middle age and is supported by the knights of the order St John, from many european countries. Valletta the capital looks like a huge fortress still today. The grand harbour played a strategical role in world war II
I will show a film of the harbour in the coming days.
I start my films with the last night in Spinola Bay where we stayed, a concert-serenade, listen to a lovely young lady voice performing in open air, harbour Spinola Bay
