Just had the pleasure of meeting ex Oranjemunder and forum member, Wessel Wessels and his wife in the shop just now.... He left here in 1969 and moved down to Vredendal...... He plans to hangout in town for a week, do a bit of fishing, perhaps visit the school....... he will be going to the Angling Club and the bowls 2nite.......

Wow! Don't they keep returning..... Wessel Wessels, was back in town again for the weekend, seems he misses the fishing in his old home town.....
we were on their farm a few times in our pikkie days,nice friendly people.Caught up with him at Orandjemunds fishing grounds....
and we are planning to be back in the school holidays for a few days.
ran in to gerda cloete at "op my stoep" over the easter week end.
enjoyed our stay at fanie!!! hope he is better after his ticker whent "carboncers"
the saturday and he was taken up in hospital.

Ja Wessel,Mike is reg,as jy weer kom gaan ons so n' bietjie kamp langs die beach...miskien moet jy so n'bietjie gaan loer hoe lyk hohneveldts.Ek en die twee Mikes wil volgende naweek daar gaan uitspan yesno quickdop 36_1_72 Laat weet net vroegtydig sodat daar so n'bietjie gebraai kan word....... okay!
