SOCIAL BOWLS
WANT TO TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT ON YOUR FRIDAY EVENING? WHY NOT HEAD ON DOWN TO THE ORANJEMUND BOWLING CLUB THIS FRIDAY EVENING AT 18H00.
BRING THE KIDS AND OUMA WITH YOU. A BRAAI FIRE WILL BE MADE AVAILABLE FOR THOSE OF YOU THAT WANT TO BRING AND BRAAI. BAR OPENS AT 18H00 AND SOCIAL FUN BOWLS START AT 18H30.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE PLAYED BOWLS BEFORE TO ROLL THAT BIG MARBLE DOWN THE GREEN..... IT'S FUN FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY!


This was well attended last Friday night, amatuers everyone of us...... but fun we did have..... don't be shy, if you are doing nothing on Friday, please feel free to join us......

Nope, the bowling Club ain't hard up for cash..... however, there are very very few playing members left at the club, I feel that this club is a green oasis in the middle of our dusty town, I feel that this club has a terrific and interesting history in Oranjemund, I feel that it would be a shame to see such a nice landscaped club as this go down......  After the Namdeb Sports day, a lot of interest was shown by Amateurs in playing bowls.... So we just advertised the friday night bowls for amateurs, it's a kid friendly clubhouse, the sport is not that physical and we throw in  braaifire and a bit of background music and Bob;s yer uncle.... a nice social club, smack bang in the middle of town...... for the entire family.....

Back from the bowls - not easy rolling the unbalanced ball arround rolled 4 balls then decided it would be better to keep score

Was a wee bit quieter down at the greens last nite..... 12+ 4 players all in all...... nice braaifire though and good banter at the bar..... NIce to see ex Oranjemund and forum member Wessel Wessels pop in for a dop and  braai.......
