Title: "bendy" word associations
Post by: georg ruf jr. on August 18, 2009, 02:09:24 PM
Okay guys. Here's a knew game. Let's see how far we get. Please stick to the rules.

1. As always, one word and one post.
2. Somebody starts of with a word and the rest join in with the association.
3. Persons names can be used if they are commonly known for something.
4. The following word may not be directly connected with the former word.
For eg.

Tree may not follow after apple, but eye could. Give it a try!

Hey Frank. That's to easy. For eg.:
You wrote "band". So my acosiation i "The Band" Their last concert was called "THe Last Waltz". That's whats meant with "bendy".

Hi All,

I assume that the last word in this is still    "Couples"  as in dance

therefore let me throw in the Bendy word  -   "Physics"

Georg give it a twist /

Georg, its ages since I have been on to have a good look through. Amazed to see I had not replied,
Looks like this is a two man game at the moment.
Didn't think you would need to Google the previous one, anyhow considering where you stay this will be easy for you, my responce is

Maroon

Anyoneelse joining in ???

I think most of the OM players prefer the easier version "Word associations".
I have several in these case. Let's see if anyone gets this. I must admit its hard.

Frank

My initial reaction was Zappa but then my twisted mine started doing tricks ( & I had to google once I thought I was on the right track)

So I offer up the word,

Merovingian

Please let me know how far off track I am / or not
Title: Re: "bendy" word associations
Post by: georg ruf jr. on June 15, 2010, 02:53:17 PM
It was Zappa.
On a Germany tour they visited some furniture shop. On stage that evening they "made up" the song "Sofa". While explaining what it was al about, somebody said "I am maroon". That was the first thing that came on my mind when I read your post.

Title: Re: "bendy" word associations
Post by: georg ruf jr. on June 15, 2010, 02:54:18 PM
From Frank you come to Merovingian?
Title: Re: "bendy" word associations
Post by: Clive Symes on June 16, 2010, 07:43:10 PM
So my inital gut feel was correct & there I was bending & twisting,
Look up Merovingian & you will see where Frank (Franks fit it, but I suspect you have already done that)

Geez Clive. This is my history. I was absolutely on the wrong track.
This one is a bit easier...

Too easy if my quess is correct, Das Kapital would have been a direct response but thats two words so giving it a twist.
My responce would be

Maori

REmember Clive. I was refering to "Merovingian". So it's the wrong Karl you're thinking of. You'll have to try again.  hammer

Go ahead Clive. That's just fine with me. This is what makes this game interessting. Still, it's a pity there's only 2 of us.
