Cameron check your Mac Donalds Burger that your "Pops" may get you for supper to-nite. A friend of mines daughter discovered this in her burger bought from Mac Donalds Bayside Table View. Obviously they don't wash their lettuce. I mean there are snails and there are snails.
Agh! More of a case that they went to the SLug and Lettuce on the way home for a quick dop.......

Hi Diana, just read your message but I was way too late, having already consumed what they pass as a "Chicken Burger" and chips. Cammy was more lucky, she only had the chicken nuggets and chips.............
I must be honest and say that this is the very first Mac Donalds I have ever had but am not in a hurry to go back either
I'm not big on Mac Donalds either although Morgan enjoys the nuggets. I do suppose an itty bitty snail could pass unnoticed but it does make you wonder what realy goes on the their kitchens.
image201 Michael you amaze me sometimes...too sharp you are...."Slug and Lettuce" now why didn't I think of that.
I find most " fast food " has for my system " negative energy " IOW I become tired after eating it .. Mc Donalds the most tiring ,,, akin to eating cookie cutter all the same plastic food .. if ever I'm going to have a burger I will go for Steers .. I find the patties at least juicy and meaty .
What about Slug and Unclean.
I remember many years ago in UK when before Michele was born, Jen & myself were invited for a meal at our friends house. Jen put some lettuce leaves on her plate and was about to eat when the lettuce started to walk. Yes, you can guess, there were a few caterpillars crawling in between the lettuce, which according to our friends had been thoroughly washed. Embarrasing to our friends but we had a really good laugh though
@Mike , I know what one of the caterpillar said to the other..... "Luttuce get outta here!"

What have I started here..........
The best Burger ever is to be had at Beltazhar (sp) in the Waterfront. Great service, staff and of course the view. They serve their snails separately.
The best at the old midnight grill in sea point and another place was a grill place at the bottom of glengariff road green point .. have forgotten the name .. monster meaty patty ...
I prefer making my own but from what I see, more and more up market type resturants are adding the burger to their menu's.
Diana, is the resturant you mentioned at the Waterfront the one where there are a few hundred different wines on sale....????
The Spar here makes nice patties, Stetson Grill Burgers......
Fresh Spar Brotchens,
Butter, not marge..... (cos she's the latest Playboy pinup)
Slab of tangy cheese
sliced onion raw
Luttce leaf
spar salad chip sauce....
thats what does it for me....
On the outside, I will choose STEERS burger and their chips are not to bad either...
But MC Donalds Burgers are utter mass produced flavourless miniture crap...... quarter pounder my arse.....
Up-out
I'll remember that in future Mike A, especially when or if you come to visit................ image21
Just bring your own burgers................!!!!!!!!!!

That would be the one Mike, just outside the entrance to the shopping mall from the "inside" of the waterfront. There where that stupid mime guy copies the people walking. (I hate mimes). They've also got a million umbrella's.
Hi Diana, yes I know the one, we have had a meal there before with Sylvia & Gilbert Kermis and from what I can remember it was very good as well.
I like sitting back having a drink or something watching that mime man and those he is taking the mike out of.
To you Mike A, they are opening a "Steers" here in our local Pick & Pay centre, so we know what you wil be eating for supper.....!!!!!
