Here is two pics of a pretty decent size butternut. It was grown down at the Swartkops farm next to the Oppenheimer Bridge. It weighs in at 8kg and is pictured next to an average sized butternut..... It's amazing what can be grown in this here desert of ours....
Seem like they competing with my superquick sprout in 2 days courgettes ,, last picking after 2 days is over 12 inches long .. dont know what magic is going on in our garden patch but they prolific .. will post a pic on peace garden ...
