Just a thought, in it's heyday, Oranjemund boasted 42 active clubs..... the following clubs are still active...
1) Golf Club
2) Soccer Club
3) Rugby Club
4) Gun Club ( more of a social affair)
5) Riding Club
6) Squash Club
7) Badminton Club
8) Bowls Club (Social)
9) Off Road Club (Log Cabin)
10) Snooker and Darts Club.....
Thats it..... I guess once the expats left....... well..... er.... uhm!

and a couple of years later it was R43 for 50

can anyone remember what the car club bage looked like - It was a silver laurel surrounding some yellow and black .. ?? with the letters OCC , I think
