Just a point..... Oranjemund Spar used to have a ROM (Regional Operations Manager) based out of Cape Town..... This year, it was changed to a Namibian ROM, based in WHK, which just pissed me off, as all our stock and relevant problems are Cape Town based, anyhow, nobody informed us about this and we started to get emails from this new Chap Kevin, wanting to come and visit the store.... I was miffed as the guy did'nt even bother to phone us to introduce himself etc..... so I conveniently kept forgetting to put in his security clearance.... and I kept on dealing with my old ROM in Cape Town..... thought i was being clever....
Anyhow, as fate would have it, this new guy phoned the store eventually to enquire about the roads after the flood.... I had to talk to him.... anyhow.... as we chatted , he said how he was looking forward to returning home to Oranjemund....."Home? ", I spluttered.... Ja, he replies.... I was born in Omund in 1968...... left in 1975......... Now we all know how passionate I am for anything Oranjemund..... Damn! i thought , if I had known he was an ex Oranjemunder,.... I would have done his clearances..... way way back..... Anyhow, cutting of my nose to spite my face....
