A real blast from the past! We were living in O'mund from 1965 - 1978. My folks are Dick and Yvonne Wilson, my brother Richard, my sister Theresa. I am now living in Mozambique. Would love to hear from anyone that remembers us. I was Diamond Queen 1974. We lived in Inner Crescent and was confronted by many a gemsbok taking a shortcut through the trees. Ah what a wonderful childhood we had. Wonderful site, well done, a lovely tribute to a truly unique way of life.

Phew, I remember Cheryll very well and had awesome times together. her folks and mine were good friends as well and often braaied together on Friday nights. Send our best to her.
Thanks Ricky, I have just had an e-mail from Linda Badenhorst who as you probably knew, is Cherril Wilson. I co-incidentally had a phone call from the person looking for her while I was checking my e-mails. Desiree Roth is over the moon to have found her friend, they shared a room at the Centaurus hostel. She couldn't thank me enough, I will go to sleep tonight feeling that I have done a good deed.

I remember Cheryl from Centaurus...she had a record player in the hostel "Bread" and "Cream" being her favourite groups.
