Old News, by now, but I was away over the weekend, for those of you who never knew, On Thursday, Rhodes Massacred the other sides by claiming the laurels in the school Gala.... I do not remember the exact score, save to say that there was at least 200 points between Oppenheimer and Rhodes.....
On another point, I was lucky to swim in the Parents vs the teachers and Pupils relay.... er, I have to apologise to my teammates .... all prepared I was, as I took that dive.... with the roar of thousands...er, make that hundreds.... I had the strange sensation of forgetting to tie the string that holds my costume on..... to my horror.... with each stroke I felt my costume head south..... It was decision time, for the sake of the team, should I swim "free" of my costume and head for victory...... butt (sic) then I remembered that there were a number of juveniles in the adoring crowd..... so half way through the length, I pulled up... adjusted my costume and carried on my merry way....
A few spectators enquired of me, thereafter, ..."Er... what kind of stroke was that then?"
I have returned to the town pool in earnest to start my training to take em off...uhm... on in the 2011 Gala.... perhaps this time with a speedo!

Congrats Rhodes, you won this time, enjoy it while it lasts for Barnato will definitely be back to claim the cup back next year!

Ja, but the sad thing was... that relay team I swam in, was a Rhodes Team.... Maybe I Thats why I threw the race....
