Well, a few of us old boys decided to return to Hohenfels for a camp this past weekend..... it was a great weekend, with many an old tale being recalled..... the river was once again in a state of a minor flood, with water levels raised by about 1.8 m...... We worked out, that between the five of us, we had 202 oranjemund Years...... Adriaan Van Rooyen, Freddie AHrens, Gunther Salchow, Mike Stenson and Mike Alexander.
No Monkeys came to visit the camp, but we assume that's because they saw freddie a mile away.....
It still amazes me to this day, that there is a forest at this location......

I smell a challenge Mr Alexander! I know how to turn a chop (as opposed to a shop!), make a s**t hot potje and ask most of the old hockey players, can sink a beer with the best of 'em!
In that case Ma'm..... I will be informing you, Sandy and Bertie of the next time we are gonna camp, I will bring the beer and pot..... the pot is that black thing with three legs we put on the fire in case you have already forgotten..... then head north up the N7.......

Mike...I just have to add.....Youre all BARK and NO BITE!!!!!!! I can almost bet my life that most of the girls/ladies/women/ Boobsgrandma's and so on who lived in Oranjemund and still lives there would surely know how to Make a proper camp fire, braai, do the long drop thing and not worry about being bitten on the rear arse and also do it better than some of the "guys". We then look after the kids, do the dishes and see that every one is fed, and has a drink. :culo1: BierSuip
