Is any body else tired off soccer soccer soccer? EK IS DOM (ESKOM) announced in todays Capetme that during the world cup consumers must only leave one light on and the tv (to watch SOCCER). What a chop! I hate football and watching over paid primadonnas is something I would never do. Now in order for ekisdom to have enough electricity for the bloody world cup, you must live in darkness. Every where you go is soccer, in the movies tonight every preview was previewed by adverts for yes you got it soccer! The fact that banana banana are going to get paid a million rand for every goal and for making it he second round is disgusting. Take the whole team (23 players), managers, luggage people, doctors, physios, chefs, and hangers on that is at least 50 million rand that could be used to pay pensioners, school books, unemployment or what ever, and that is not even the half of it. All of this of course is paid by us the TAX PAYER. So lets all work hard so that a bunch of bananas can get a pigs bladder into a net. The fact that FIFA is a mafiadom is of no consequence (read the latest Nose Week Magazine!) and the only people who are gettin any thing out of this is Septic Bladder, his family and some of our own Government officials. Makes you think doesnt it? So as opposed to blowing a plastic horn, I will be burning every light, and watch the rugby!

I have absolutely NO interest in the soccer as well. To watch how they go back and forth for about 2 hours, and m-a-a-a-y-be the bladder will find the net once or twice.... please, I have better ways of spending my time... like ironing my clothes, perhaps...?
I'll be watching the opening ceremony though, would like to see if the electricity stays on through the whole thing, and how many morons will try to be on the TV in stead of remembering their paces...
If the hooligans aren't enough... what about those absolutley f#$%*& irritating vuvuzella things...!!! Should be banned in it's entirety; noise pollution.

I think the politicians think this will be a great distraction for the disaffected masses ,, its amazing that JZ when asked a tight question does not break out into the diski dance ,,,, image201 problem is they dont realise that every party ends , and then the reality of the hangover and life is still there ... only positive thing I see is some road and transport infrastructure improved .. well as said let them enjoy it ,, me ?? I'm ducking till its all over .... pray i dont see a blue light brigade whisking Fifa mafia around , might just throw a bottle at it ,, or give a nice finger ..
