Forum member, Mike Voden submitted these snaps today. Taken at 14hoo from in front of his house in Gordon's Bay, looking towards the Hottentot Hollands mountains of the Helderberg...... the snow has arrived in the Cape!
I've also heard that snow is forcast on Table Mountain, a rare occurance indeed
That explain why we freezing here... beautifull pics. Just checked our mountain can't see nufink as she has her table cloth. Will check in the morning....Sandy you closer can you see snow?
Absolutely nuffink Diana ... cloud and rain ... Grrr
Nice pics, but it strikes me the name Helderberg is now a bit of a misnomer.
My brother Shawn just travelled down from Pretoria and has photo's of snow on the side of the road near Touwsrivier and I don't mean a few blobs.
I never had my camera with me, but this morning, when I drove Cameron to Creche, I noticed a lot of the lawn down by those single accommodation units near the abattoir had a layer of ice/frost over them, at first glance I thought it was snow....
