Don't you think it might be better to have your dog fixed instead of producing more pets in this country that you don't know what's going to happen with it. Just look at all the adverts of people wanting to get rid of their pets, visit the spca to see what happens to all those unwanted pets. You should grow some common sense and have your dog fixed
I was in correspondence with anothe potential but this just sidelined me as each atempt at response gave a bounce .. I am writing from my private email as I have been so taken over by customer visits and projects the last few days that I have not have time to respond from my work address .. I have read your responses , I find the idea of KUSA saying that mating a non KUSA with a KUSA as damaging to the pups quite strange . I have in fact in the last months tried to engage KUSA and have zero response ,, to me the height of bad manners ,, at least an enquiry sent in deserves a response . In my opinion it seems they operate on the same closed clique system pretty much the same as me and my passed partner had with certain horticultural societies ... the " judges " supreme beings who could not even see merit unless something was named and measured up to their tape measures , egos or loss of stature , in process possibly tossing away something that had actual value ... pretty much what I have heard from a few people that bought prime KUSA registered Scotties virtually being told by the breeders that they have to enter into contract not to breed with them to the point of having them neutered .. thereby ensuring the breeders continuing rule ,??? Possibly misunderstood but yes that is what I have ostensibly heard ...
Why in the first place cannot KUSA even say bring the unpapered doggie around and let us evaluate ?? and " measure and appraise " possibly there is merit and a change to the highly bred lines , which have problems as well . I have a good friend who has a border collie boy who is a mixture of unpapered mother and highly pedigreed father , this boy has has the best temprement ,, not the usual highly strung nature ... I many years ago adopted an unrecognizable boy from SPCA who upon being washed and groomed thrice turned out to be an original sized fully coated Yorkie male , not the bent spine interbred hold in arm or handbag , needing caesarians to give birth that I have seen around .
Excuse me digressing and any bile I am spewing but yes I am in not a good mood ... as per the dialogue below ,, I as an offchance put Morag on Gumtree to see if there were any unpapered brindle males around ,, and I got the response from this person who does not have the guts to respond .. ie a quick temporary email.address and exit ... cyber cowards of the first degree ... thank you for your candid comment , it is appreciated and I am sure comes from your heart and yes well meant advice . I am well aware of the situation with uncaring people abandoning their pets , and yes have been to the SPCA many times over the years , have adopted 3 dogs from them over the years all living happy lives till their natural time was over . This not a Mongrel I am looking for a sire for , she is a pure Scotty only issue is the lack of papers , she has potential for lovely pups with her good brindling on the coat . I have had people I personally know express interest in getting pups from her . Problem is KUSA operates like a kind of closed clique , hence my looking for a similar non papered male . I have no intent of operating a puppy mill , for that reason waiting for her to get to good strength & maturity before even considering letting her have pups . I would if this pans out be very selective with prospective owners , pretty much the same as when I had troops of 11th hour pregnant wild cats ( woodstock circa 1980's ) come to my home sensing that they would be taken care of which I did ... their offspring being put into well selected homes , which I visited till I was sure there was a bond .. the wild cats then being sterilised and allowed to stay till their natural life ended ... Common sense I have always tried to apply and am doing the same here . If I find no suitable sire for her then I will follow the route of sterilisation .

COWARD, COWARD , COWARD! Bitter pill to swallow, Sandy. I dont know how somebody can just jump in and judge a person they haven't met, or even spoke to for a few minutes. I understand how you feel, must be like a knife in your back. They obviously don't know you, and your love for your doggie-kids... it boggles the mind... would love to meet this person - just to see how pathetic he/she is... Probably quite a sour, ill-informed, excuse of a human being with so many issues... and probably on a lot of pills for all diseases known to man... sick man...
