Four u/15 members of the Oranjemund Badminton club and their coach/manager have been invited to attend the All Africa U15 Badminton Tournament in Mauritius next month.
The team consists of:
Shannon Alexander
Rodisha Gaseb
Francois Maritz
Rezano Willemse
Lynn du Preez (coach)
They will be leaving Oranjemund on Sunday 25th July, travelling via Springbok, Upington and Johannesburg and arriving in Mauritius on Tuesday 27th July. They will attend a 4-day coaching clinic before the Tournament begins and will arrive back in Oranjemund on Tuesday 11th of August.
The cost for the group is approximately N$69000 - attached please find the Sponsorship letter from The Badminton Federation of Namibia.

Thanks for the lovely photo of our "proud" Oranjemund Badminton team - please pass on our best wishes to Lynn and the whole Badminton team and hope they do well and enjoy the whole experience. Fingers crossed for them - this makes a change from the crossing of fingers for the soccer teams.
