On behalf of "The Band In The Sand" may I thank you, Mike, for the advance publicity for our gig last night. It's such a pity you got a migraine so early in the evening and had to go home. (Your headache must be sssooooo much worse after the Cheetahs performance this afternoon). As to last night, Paul, thankfully, was on his game and carried the Alexander name high!
Thanks, too, to all those 'Omunders who attended the evening, as well as to the Bowling Club, for allowing us use of their great venue. And a "Big Up" to Elmarie who, after 16 years of trying, finally won the "Party Animal Of The Night Award" at a Bedrock gig! It's the kind of support we witnessed last night that encourages us to persevere in order to bring a little bit of light relief to our community.
Sounds like a good night was had by all, pity we missed it.

Hang in there now Pete, we don't want to be seen to be encouraging the like of Bedrock... this is a peaceful town here, we don't take kindly to yer new fangled rocking music in these parts now... except maybe that one song... oooh yes and that other one, you know with the words and stuff
