It was reassuring to see how fast OTMCO/NAMDEB have reacted to repairing and cleaning up the damage after yesterday's big wind.
Today the east Wind is still blowing, but not as strong and with no more sand..... Weather report reckons that the East wind is here till at least Friday...
The below pics were taken by our roving photographer, Jacques Kemp.

I hope somebody in the command structure of HMS Oranjemund takes the initiative to plant some more tree's and not the average 5 we do on arbor day.... and have those 50 odd bluegums along the prACTICE range been watered yet, or are they still dying?

Hopefully someone from OTMCO or Namdeb is reading this right now.
Hee-hee.
I also believe that those tall Bluegums across the road from FNB in the abandoned creche are also drying up...... Gee! Years of tree planting going to pot....
We are in the papers again today, photo's and all......

9th snappie... the remains of the cricket screen brought to the ground. I recall Mike A being very concerned when the 1st half of it took a tumble before the recession...
Yes, it took mother nature to remove that eyesore..... we were waiting over 18 months for OTMCO to get around to it....... Amazed that some kid had'nt been hit by that potential safety hazard.....
