Hi there
I had to scan those pics from slides and compress them as much as possible in order to cope with your slow system, sorry but otherwise it takes very long for you
Once you have DSL i can revise that to higher quality

Looking at that program, there is only one name on it of a person that still lives here and is active in trying to keep the place running and that is Dawn Johnson (Watt).......
The Smarts are also mentioned and they live in Rosh Pinah, our neighbouring town....
:)
Sorry i dont remember the face of Dawn
Hope he sees the Pics
Seems that forum is keeping me busy LOL, but i am glad to be able to contribute my share
@ Sandy
I had a smile of what you said about Günter, but disregarding that, he is a very valuable friend of mine and we still have occasional contacts by phone. Günter is now 81 and has slowed down a lot. Helga realy looks after him. I had about 4 visits to them since i have left Oranjemund.
I hope someone will supply me the email adress of Ingo Machts so i can communicate with him
Peter Reschke also wrote me, what a nice surprise

Rob Kirk has made this entry in the guestbook
I replied, he should sign in to the forum.
I got to this site thanks to Georg in Stuttgart who posted some pictures of the cast and posters from a production I did with the Players of "Oh what a Lovely War!". Great to have old memories reawakened. I have pics from Wait Until Dark and The Odd Couple somewhere around and a whole stack taken at the Model Aero Club when the Cape Radio Fliers came up in 1977 or 78.
Edwin, my eldest was 40 this year -- he is a paediatrician in Sydney, John is a Mining Engineer in Perth and Barbara a pharmacist in Geraldton, a coastal town od 30,000 some 600km North of Perth.
Rosalie and I parted shortly after we came to Australia, and I had custody of the children. I remarried and had two more, Gillian who has now just finished 4th Year of Medicine and Andrew who has finished 3rd year of a combined Civil Engineering and Commerce degree.
Unfortunately I am not as good at marriage as I am at children, so my second marriage only lasted 20 yrs 5 years more than my first.
I stopped clinical medicine when I turned 60, but still practice as an administrator, running an area with 24 hospitals in it in the centre of Western Australia.
I'd love to hear from anyone who remembers me -- I was a doctor in Oranjemund from 1976 to early 1979.
