Title: Egypt 2010
Post by: Patricia Lotte on September 09, 2010, 11:37:46 AM
After a crazy month settling down in Abu Dhabi, starting a new job and planning the wedding (only 3 months to go ...), I have finally found time to post some photos of our Egypt trip. We spent a few days in Cairo (my second trip there, so not the highlight for me), we then took a night train to Aswan, followed by a 4 day Nile cruise up to Luxor visiting temples, the Valley of the Kings, etc. We then flew to Sharm El Sheikh for a week of diving in the Red sea and relaxation. Great trip. Here are some photos.

Thanks Pepe. How long back were you in the Middle East? And where? I've been here for over 13 years and things have really changed, and not necessarily for the better.

Hi Patricia, I managed a project in Kuwait from 2003 to 2004. Did monthly visa runs to Dubai and Bahrain. Sorry to hear that things have changed as I had the most awesome time there even while the war was in neighboring Iraq.
