Yesterday, I took two visitors to see Hohenfels, on the way back, just about 2km from the Swarkops gate , one of the visitors snapped this photograph, the snake was being attacked by one of the local crows....

Think the crows have a nest close by with eggs or chicks - maybe that's why they went for the snake.
Beautiful. You dont often see the yellow version in this area.
