It was nice to see Elsie Boehme in the store this morning, had a nice chat about the shopping centre in the old days..... very interesting from my perspective as my mother worked with her and now I work here.......
For the life of me , I just cannot understand where Diana fits into the picture as Elsie is such a sweet person and we all know how Diana is.... image201
She mentioned number of old timers names from the shopping days, MR.Howard, Mrs Wrbka, Mr Van Der Nest......
Hopefully Alfie will bring her along to the bowling club on Friday night and we can resume the conversation....

Enjoy your stay mother. Your house is still standing and I haven't bumped the car yet.
Mike / Alfie please give our regards. That is if she remembers me of course. At the shopping centre and if I remember correctly, she had an office next to the "Cheese Room Fridge" where the bulk warehouse is now
Thank you Mike, I do remember when you came to fix the fridges those were the good old days.
Diana, I am enjoying my stay if you look like your smiley you might just crash my car
lol

Geez I didn't know it would be like this tho, never happened in the 28 odd years I was in the Cape. I'm, and Freddie (Ahrens) are a little saddened by this. Oh forgot to mention got married to Freddie (childhood sweetheart) on the 24 June 2010. Have a lovely stay. Regards Courtenay van Eeden, Faith's daughter.
