Believe a chap almost lost his life yesterday at the Gun Club, when his quad bike landed up on top of him, believe it is one of those big machines.
He was found alone in the carpark knocked out and turning blue, he had been lying there for about 2 minutes before he was found, he had to be turned on his side, CPR and heart massage and clearing of the throat, The ambulance and doctor were on the scene quite quickly and the las was saved, believe he has a big knock to the head, but good news at the end of the day....

Quad bikes are bad news worldwide. New Zealand, with a population of barely four million, has over 70,000 quad bikes registered mostly for use in farm work.
Quad bikes there have been involved in at least 103 deaths since 2000, for example, although the Labour Department says there is no accurate measure of the number of accidents and deaths because it only investigates workplace incidents.
The figures are sourced from a combination of Labour Department figures, and national health and hospital records.
Almost 30 per cent of all agricultural deaths involve quad bikes.
In the four years to 2009 there were 8211 new injury claims lodged with Accident Compensation Commission stemming from all-terrain vehicle accidents.
