Mike you remembered 'Oor Wullie' and 'The Broons'. Hoots mon! Got some strange looks down the Hout Bay Yacht Club on Saturday. I was the only fella rooting for the Scots. Great game great win. The Boks are going to have a tough time beating the Sassenachs on Saturday considering the strong performance the Englisg put in against the All Blacks recently.
Kind regards
Gordon
Gordon, I did indeed think of you on Saturday after the game..... Very few pundits would have called that one....
As for the Broons of Glebe street and Oor Wullie, we grew up on them, My dad's mum would post him out the Weekly News, Mail and Sunday Post on a weekly basis, with a few Dandy's, Beano's and Toppers in for us kids... and when my folk were finished with the Post .... we got to read oor Wullie and the Broons.... in fact I actually have a few annuals of them also......
Still know my roots, I do.....

Be careful oh big one from over the border..............!!!!!!!!!!
This is the first time I see a Brit mentioning a border between England and Scotland.
So Braveheart. Time to take advantage of this... ape
Georg Jr, if my history is correct, Braveheart as he was so called was a traitor to his cause and dropped his Scottish people right in the s**t. As to Mike A, he is all talk.
As to a border between England & Scotland, oh yes and a big one at that
Are there also draadsitters there.... sorriso2

I'm only kidding Mike. I was refering to Mike A when I wrote Braveheart... affe-red affe-red affe-red
It's not a border, it's a big friggin wall that the ROmans built to keep the Scots out of their English colony....
