I was talking to an old tate that works on the mine..... he told me of an interesting tale. where a bunch of the workforce were meant to be repairing a broken machine out along the dams, and they noticed that there happen to be plenty of fish, so these guys, took one of those poclain digger type machines and actually used it to scoop fish out of the water....
this was'nt a recent even and he reckoned the guys that were talking about it, say it happened around december/January.......
Anyone else know about this tale?

Many moons ago , there was a fitter called Speedy stationed at 4 plant , whenever he worked at 100G . He would throw his line in one the coffer dams. and Lunchtimes , It was a treat to see and hear him munching away on freshly fried fish
Those days the river was out of bounds - so fishing for freshwater fish was out
