I remeber the dried out dog poop on the circles! It was bleached white by the sun.
Don't know why I recall this memory. Yeah OK shut it! :D
You have a strange memory.....
;D
Robert, if you remember the dried stuff, I wonder if you ever ran barefoot through some of the alley ways that abound throughout the town.
Now that what I can remember, vividly.

Oh you bet Clive. There were some great alleys up by your house. The dog poep was not so great!
There were not a lot of alleys around 21 1st Ave. Seem to remember one up near Sinclair Molloy's house further along in 1st Ave. Most of the better alleys seemd to be in the older parts of OM.
Didn't Terry Holland live up your way.
Seeing Anne Greenway's house reminds me of when the GM's mansion was built. Used to go play on the building site.
Did you mean that my house looked like the GM's house or a building site ???!
I remember the GM's house built - second only pool in the town, kidney shaped, and a beautiful house and garden as well. It was amazing how many friends Iona Devlin discovered she had when the town pool was closed!
Robert, Terry Holland still lives in Oranjemund, I suppose you know he married Don Wilsons daughter Sharon.
Ann, some of us were persona non gratia at the Devlins and made do with swimming in the Resevoir Just behind their house, access through the manhole at the top near the pump station. It was only many years later that I discovered that it wasn't the GM's private water supply.
Hi Clive.
Is Sharon Mark Swanapoels sister?
