Title: Proxies and Blocked Internet Radio!
Post by: Michael Alexander on May 18, 2011, 04:39:55 PM
Here's a challenge for the Computer nutters out there....

I have been battling....

About a year ago, I used to listen to the Scottish Radio Station CLYDE 2 on the internet. I used Radio sure to listen to it. My father used to enjoy listening to it also....

Anyhow, They have now blocked the streaming audio to everyone outside of the British Isles....

I know that there is a way to still listen to it, but without using Linux or a proxy services that you have to pay for....

Can anyone out there figure out and test how I can continue listening to CLYDE2 free....

com'on it; s a challenge.....

If you solve it, I will give you a Karma point every day for 15 days.....

Way too Go Stennie, this makes a mockery of the legal system trying to restrict the service to mainland UK only.....

I will wait till Ally Bally is on on Sunday..then send them an email from Namibia, quoting their last song and wait to see how they deal with that one...

I knew there had to be a way, I just could'nt find the free proxy , they all gave 3 days trial and then wanted to charge you.....

Great Stuff Stennie...

Got one or time outs after I stopped it and started it again... just refreshed till it worked.
Not sure if the proxy changes after a time... might have to use others till it works.
Some proxys were very very slow or would not let me in..
