Here is the car minus any dignity waiting for the new knicker elastic tyres to be fitted. Poor thing! Looks so sad to see her perched on four jacks instead of on the lift at the usual tyre supplier. This place was once a petrol station with attached service garage. Now it's a side of the road new n used tyre supplier.
Unfortunatey I need to return there so they can sort out the very worrying vibration at 70 -75mph which was not there before. Maybe they need to learn about balancing the tyres.

Robert ,, badly made tyres can never be balanced .. trust me .. my one brand new Opel had all 5 tyres (Firestones made on a monday morning . as well can you believe it ?? ) they all had the same defect... and they could be balanced and a few days later would be out of balance as the sidewall bonding was defective ,, in fact that they did not disentigrate under stress was a miracle ... take them back they are a safety hazard .. think of your family travelling with them cheapies " holding them onto the r oad .. Nah sooner return and ask for refund ...
Sandy - good advice. I am returning there tomorrow.
