can't remember who asked for this .


Milk Tart

(forms its own crust)


4   cups of milk
3   eggs
1   cup of sugar
1   teaspoon of baking powder
2   Desrtspoons of butter (heaped)
1   cup of flour
1   teaspoon vanilla essence
pinch of salt


Method
Separate whits of eggs' beat until stiff and put in fridge until needed.  Mix egg yolk and sugar well together, melt butter and add to egg and sugar mixture.  Add sifted flour and baking powder and salt to sugar mixture.
Add milk and vanilla essence then fold in egg whites. Put into two large pans and bake in moderate oven at 350 F for approximately twenty minutes.

Darryl, thats food she's talking about , not some Tart that you can sleep with......   :o   ;)

Claire, please just send the finished product to Darryl.  That way he will not be led into temptation.  Same applies for me  -  I won't be tempted by a "Tart", oh but the language I use when once again another flop pops out of the oven after following a flop proof recipe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
