Never let that happen to a good steak.  A friend of mine explains the perfect steak as follows:

"Hy's reg -  ek moet hom net so keer om nie my slaai te vreet en in my bord te skyt nie".

My steak has gotta have a good helping of fat on it, Same when you have a good piece of biltong, not white fat, yellow fat.....pity my Vegetarian wife.... :-\

Yep, I agree!  Leave the koekkies and terte and all that other sweet stuff for someone else -  I never go for a cholesterol test anyways.  And with that - real homemade bread and butter, not margarine - BUTTER!  I am staying away from the read meat like the doctor says - I chow on the "yellow" stuff.

mike which chop destroyed your steak.
for the braaier of mikes steak.....tips cut off its horns , wipe its ass and slap is on the plate. a good staek must be done in such a way that a well trained vet can bring it back to life.

Oi, I read some of the postings on the "Orange" site as well.  According to that and your sincere invite to Riaan, a few assumptions are forming in my head, Mike.

Riaan, be honest about this ........ was the move to GP willingly or should we list your name in a sub section of NAMDEB BANNED US?  ;)  Well, if you do go back, first make sure the "calf" is slaughtered for you and then........  do the braai job yourself, 'cos apparrently the bloke who was burdened with the task last time is not a chef  -  he works at the crematorium.

Mmm, I wonder if they'll want to have me back...
As long as Mike's steaks have got lots of fat on, I'll make an effort. :P

OK, time for a few clarifications...

1. Mikes steak burned because Mike was to pissed to come out and get it off the braai grid, we startted the braai at about 6 and half way through the final (21:45) Mike was all like: "Hey bru, where's my steak")
2. Riaans replacment is Tanzanian, not Kenyan
3. Riaan was not expelled, his move to the crime capital of the world was entirely his own call (eejit)
4. See point 1

Ag ja, we should have known there was another side to the story.......  but, being true to my own nature, I still have a few doubts about your statement in 3.   Riaan.......
