COMMUNITY MEETING - ESTABLISHMENT OF COMMUNITY RADIO STATION
VENUE: School Auditorium
DATE: Tuesday 18th October 2011
TIME: 18H00 - 19H30
The Phoenix Foundation hereby extends an invitation to the entire community of 'Oranjemund, to attend
a public meeting.
The objective is to discuss the possibility and feasibility of establishing a community radio station.
The Phoenix Foundation is a charity based organization that was established in Oranjemund, serving the
interests of this community. The aim of the Foundation is to provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all
vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the community of Oranjemund. The Foundation does not discriminate politically
nor religiously, and is open to all cultures, races, and creeds.
As we know, Oranjemund is on the verge of becoming a "normal" town, we note that effective communication is a necessity for
any modern township. Businesses use it to advertise their merchandise, community churches and other organisations use it to
communicate in mass, our youth that aspire to pursue careers in broadcasting will acquire basic skills.
The benefits of the proposed platform are endless and aid growth in our community, we look forward to seeing you there.
THE WORLD IS YOURS......., CHANGE IT
