Distinguished members of the community of Oranjemund.
Citizens, concerning the establishment of the community radio station, I feel privileged to be the one to have
randomly nominated you, to partake in this exiting initiative, obviously not withholding the right for others to join in.....
As we cover new ground, there are a few fronts we need to consider simultaneously, technical readiness, program scheduling
and presenter aptitude etc....but to mention a few.
The technical team has been nominated and is meeting next week to deliberate about pertinent matters.
Your team will be focusing on what this station should offer to its listeners, nominate and select suitable presenters...and finally,
advise and coach our presenters so that by the time we are ready to go live, they are equipped to take up the challenging task.
I can almost see the sweat running down your faces, we will be learning together. DON'T Fear.
To keep this dream aloft, our radio station's future will rests on the shoulders of selfless volunteers and Samaritans of sort.
Hence search your hearts before attending this session, if you don't fit the profile, your absence will be understood.
This effort is aimed at building redundancies into our community station, so that we don't lose critical skills when one of us
leaves town......the show must go on.
