Georg
is that Bill Fry and Jack Annett  Stan ?

Jack is a friend of the family I remember him often doing the sugar plum fairy act at the players during my childhood - and  he was the person to do the eulogoy at my dad's funeral.

He still lives in Parow or somewhere in the in suburbs with Jean his wife.

Vickers - Leslie and Gary were the kids,

I got into trouble with Gary Vickers and Colin Groom after going for a walk into the desert - one afternoon.

Security phoned  my parents to ask about my intentions........

Jack Annett  ..  my  mom  used to call  him  a true  thespian  ..  involved in  the  theatre ...  I  have  memory  of  when  I  was  still  in  primary  school  ..  I used  to tease  Carol Annett .  they used  to  stay  next  door  to  the Barrats in first avenue  .. there  was  an  alley between  the  two houses  .. I  passed  by  the  one  day  to  give  my  usual  dose of  teasing  , not  knowing  that  Carol and  some friends had  set  up an ambush   ..   they  came at  me from  the  alleyway ,  outnumbered  I was  held  tight  by  a  few  and then  given  a  few  well deserved  klaps   by  Carol  for  being  such  a  cheeky  little  snotkop ...
teasing  days  over   for me  after that  humiliation ..
