Here's a date to the pics, 1938

On the pic with the two school girls, if you save the image and then zoom into what she is painting, you will see a swastika and the year 1938.....

Interesting stuff indeed....

About Dias cross. the cross we are familiar with , was nothing like the original . But during 1990 , the cross was replaced with a cross similar to the one Dias planted .
will any one who has a pic of this new replica , plse post it on the site . I would really like to see it

A little germany ,, I always used to walk those streets when on tour fascinated ,, and yes in the 70's Luderitz was still a very viable town ,,, dont know now ,, so sad ,,,

dias cross 1982 . That was replaced with a propper replica. any pictures of the new one ? ?

It was at rooilepel that fosilised eggs of an ostrich type desert flightless bird was found
