Apollo 11: This is a good picture to provide you a perspective of the sizes of the command module (the bit that houses the three astronauts and the instrumentation panels etc) and the service module (contains all the bits like oxygen tanks, engines for the main rocket and small directional rocket pods and the fuel tanks etc) that got bolted on top of the gigantic 365ft tall Saturn V rocket.
If you think this is huge, just wait until you see what the Russians call huge!
I'll be posting an image shortly that relates to those two Soviet cosmonauts at that braai in America with the Apollo astronauts.
