Well, we are off..... I went to vote in the Rec Club hall..... took me less than 5 minutes.... hardly anyone there.......
Here are a few snaps taken by Arthur when he went this morning at 07h00....
It always bothers me that they give you a pencil to make your mark and not a pen...... always imagining some okie with an eraser after the polls shut....

Mike, you are not off the mark there. In South Africa's census held last year, it was the same, all forms had to be filled out in pencil. Luckily and for some unknown reason, we were excluded but if I had to fill in a form I would have use a black pen, not pencil.
I believe a lot of people are wondering about the pencil story.... checked up, it is correct, however fear not, that group of people sitting in a row against the wall are party observers , never leaving the hall..... they stay till the end, with the box and then observe the counting.......
The other thing that bothered me.... why was there a mark in pen on the back of the slip, not sure if it was a number or just writing, is your vote still a secret?
