I had the pleasure to meet the Health inspector from Luderitz about a month back. Oranjemund now falls under his control..... he did an audit of the Spar, pointed out what needs to be changed..... and offered any assistance should we require it...
This morning I found two letters on my desk, from the Ministry offices in Luderitz, whereby Joel was inviting people based in Oranjemund, that worked in the food industry to attend a three day course on Food Hygiene ... In addition to this, there is a 2nd course on infection control..... I was impressed to see that lunch will also be served during the training sessions....
It is rewarding to see that there are people employed in Government positions that are taking pride in their work and unlike the majority of the government employees that are just there for the pay cheque at the end of the month..... these guys are doing a sterling job....
Spar will be sending 6 employees to attend....
