Title: Winter Rains hit town!
Post by: Michael Alexander on July 08, 2012, 03:42:54 PM
Lekker! Awesome, Kief, incredible..... always nice when the rain comes to town.....some of us even enjoy the cold weather that comes with it...

The rain poured down on Friday evening and again during Saturday morning, delivering unto us a healthy 11.3 mm(private garden, the official airport site has yet to be updated) .... not too shabby....  the whole town is scattered with puddles, the tree's have been washed and even the dying trees along the now abandoned practice range appear to be getting a 2nd wind.....

I heard it was to be raised by 16 Meters but even by 6 meters is some height. I don't think they will ever fill it, even now it is hardly full.............

Mike A .. The boer war was small fry compared to what me and friend  Mike V have to face. So it's forward March for us .. Up the Khyber . & Thank you  Adriaan for being willing to sympathise with the two of them ,quote: [ oi ....are you two Mikes coping or shall i lend a ear ]

Good words Hennie, good words. It's not the Boer War that I face, it's a weak and feeble attack from the old enemy up north, namely the Scot................
