Title: Rugby Emergency ~ Power Outage!!!!!!
Post by: Michael Alexander on July 19, 2012, 03:38:02 PM
As you all know there is a power outage throughout Saturday and Sunday this weekend from 06:00 – 16:00.  This clashes with the Superrugby quarter-finals which will be played on Saturday morning, Bulls vs Crusaders at 08:30 and Sharks vs Reds at 10:40.

If any of you are interested in watching the Superrugby quarter-finals on Saturday, Fanie Smit will be opening "Op My Stoep" from 08:00 (with breakfast as an option) to cater for us rugby addicts who would like to see these games.  Fanie's establishment is, obviously, equipped with a generator!

Please spread the word.

er... for what it's worth, SPAR are upgrading their bouquet to have the rugger on our screens on whilst you stand in the queue at Spar..... buy 1000 pieces of bubblegum and demand a single transaction per unit and you can stand at the tills the entire morning......

Unlike Fanie, we will not be doing breakfast.....

When that happens (you get the rugby bouquet) please put a screen at the dairy fridge, another at the bakery section, a third at the butchery, a fourth at chutneys and pickles and a fifth at Fruit & Veg.  If you don't do that for us there's a danger we'll join the queue when the quarter-finals begin and will miss the finals two weeks later if we're not at the sweets by then!!!

.... What about putting a 6th screen across the road at your house next to braai for the final then?

anyhow , as rumours go, the economic crises is about to return and you will no longer have to stand in the queue at Spar any longer..... image201
