Was saddened to hear of the passing of yet another ex Oranjemund character, Danny the Greek passed away over the weekend up in Ovamboland in the north of Namibia..... Danny was a fridge mech at town electrical and was well known at the Bowling Club, Gun Club, Casey's and the Snooker &Darts ...
One of Danny's memorable scheme's was the introduction of his "famous" steak rolls that he would prepare on a braai fire in the courtyard at Caseys..... A number patrons complained bitterly about his pricing, yet as they consumed more alcohol they saw passed the pricing and purchased the Greek's wares.....
Will be missed......
