Hi sad news My brother Bobby Smith past away today. Rip Bobby.

Mavis, I am really shocked to hear of Bobby's passing, one of the first members on this forum and we use to have good SKYE sessions together..... I never met him personally, but I know he did charity work and we were friends....

I shall miss him.....

Strength to all the SMith Clan at this time....

Just got in from dinner ,, got this news , me well .. dont know ,, seems its that season and a consequence of our time and age.. simple words I'm shattered ,, I will raise a glass and shed a tear for a friend , neighbour , playmate of my childhood ... need i say more ,,

I'm sorry to read this Mavis. He and I would chat on facebook and skype frequently in the past. What a pity and far to young to go.

Sad that I never got to meet Bobby personally. We skyped a few times, had a virtual tour of his house, met Jan, he always talked about coming back to Oranjemund for a visit, I was looking forward to that.... guess we left it too late....

Bobby and I were in the same class at OPS. Decent bloke. Last time I saw him was in the O'Mund youth club, I think he was visiting during school holidays. He and Brian were mates. One doesn't forget guys like Bobby.

Never knew Bobby face to face, but got to know him through this forum and then later with a few SKYPE sessions.

He always wanted to return to Oranjemund for a visit, but time caught up with him!
