Got admire any kid that is willing to sacrifice their December holiday to go on a sports tour.
In less than 24 hours, a group of 9 Oranjemund Private School students (both High and Junior) will be heading off to ZAMBIA to participate in the All Africa School Badminton Championships.
Under the experienced coaching of Badminton stalwart, Lyn Du Preez, the girls team will be attempting to retain their Championship win from last year, whilst the boys will be hoping to improve on their commendable 3rd place from a year ago.....
It's always with a sense of pride, both as an ex OPS pupil and a parent to experience the lofty height to which these youngsters aspire.......
With this in mind, I am sure we all stand united behind this incredible team and wish them all a great tournament....
